Summary/Abstract: Aphrodisias School of Sculpture and Aphrodisias Museum have been showing the spirit and the life routine of a sculpture school with unfinished sculptures and proportion problems of some sculptures inside. Contemporary sculptors are using electrical tools instead of hand power according to the modern age. Considering how hard and slow is the carving a stone with possibilities of that ancient age, human will and labor highly affected the sculpture art. City of Aphrodisias and its historical structure are mentioned in the introduction part of this article because of making a general review and featuring some values. Works those sculpted by the artists of Aphrodisias School of Sculpture analyzed by images, and it is deduced that Aphrodisias wasn’t a school created by Rome, But a reality of sculpture and art with synthesis of Anatolian cultures that persuaded to Rome.
