Summary/Abstract: The article containsyhe analysis of concepts of “look”, “topos”, “motive”. For the purpose the presence of lines of Ukrainian romanticism, applying the concept “ethnomentalnist”, the creative inheritance of P. Kulish is researched in the search of the features of the Ukrainian romantisism. Attention is concentrated on irrational and kordosentrical motivess of creativity of the Ukrainian writer.
