Summary/Abstract: The article investigates the culture-forming potential of the archaic mans philosophy in works by Mircea Eliade. It makes inself felt in forms of “new humanism”, aimed at revelation of the spirituality “ontological sources”, the sеarch of the ways of improvement of the existing situation, the foration of the man, аble to reproduct archetypic heritage and ready to reality symbolizing.
