Summary/Abstract: The research of the myth poetics in contemporary Ukrainian fine arts demands election of principle of regulation of empiric material. Traditional criterion of typology of myth poetical forms by the plot shows non-conformity as to researching of contemporary art. Analysis of this question is a foreword to the problem of myth as the aesthetic category and is firstly considered in context of postmodern problems.
