Summary/Abstract: The wide range of tasks performed by firefighters of the State Fire Service – and the multitude of risks they are exposed to – have contributed to qualifying this profession as carrying a very high level of risk. The article analyzes the causes and effects of firefighters’ accidents in the State Fire Service in 2010 – 2016.
