The milestones of the national trombone performance on the background of historical and cultural processes in Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: The article presents a brief overview of the historical background of the formation of trombone performance in Ukraine, from the Kyivan Rus epoch to the appearance of centers of professional training for wind musicians, musical workshops and fraternities. It also describes the activities of musical instrumental classes at Kharkiv University and the role of bondservant orchestras in the development of the Ukrainian trombone performance school.
