Summary/Abstract: One of the most honored activists of the Bulgarian educational movement in the third and forth quarter of the XlXth century is the Rila monk Neofit (1793 - 1881) - a recognized enlightenment activist and man of books, father of the Bulgarian grammar tradition and the Bulgarian scientific lexicography.
