Theoretical models of decision-making in the United States foreign policy

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the models of decision-making process in foreign policy of the United States of America. Particularly, there is provided an analysis of the rational choice model, the limited rationality model, the incremental model, and the organizational-bureaucratic model. There are demonstrated advantages of each model as well as its limits. The author analyzes the influence of ideological factors on the decision-making process in foreign policy.
