Main vectors of the transformation of the basic functions of politics in the conditions of development of information civilization

Summary/Abstract: We consider the particular realization of the basic functions of policy (the functions of social management, functions of political socialization, functions of political communication) in the formation and development of the information civilization. Traces the evolution of the state bureaucracy, the road to becoming an official, an employee in the bureaucrat-politician, that necessitated the revision of the functional content of the policy. We analyze the transformation of the functions of political socialization and political communication under the influence of "fourth wave of information revolution."
