Summary/Abstract: The article concerns breaking the taboo language in the gay subculture, as illustrated by social announcements. Consequently, selected social announcements are analyzed with respect to the self-presentation of the sender, which they contain and the benefits which are offered. The author also detects traces of vulgarity used in them.
