Summary/Abstract: Social networks confirm that new technologies produce constant fun and emotional stimulation nowadays. Precisely, new infulencers produce that on social networks and strongly affect our lives. In this paper will be explained who are the modern influencers, how they communicate and influence the audience / public, and how they earn very well. According to some surveys, you need a little more than a thousand followers on Instagram to earn more than 4,000 pounds a year. The same, or even more, is earned by those who publish video messages on YouTube. In June last year, Forbes released a list of the top 12 YouTube influencers who earned $ 70.5 million a year. The presentation we see on these and similar platforms is, clearly, only the visible tip of the iceberg. Knowing that we live in a mediatized world, it is necessary to explain how these people influence our lives, families, culture and society in general. Social networks have made it possible for everyone to be communicators who can (re)design others' opinions. What can we see on social networks? Who shapes our perceptions about the world, society, culture today? These are just some of the questions that will, at least partially, attempt to be answered in this paper. It will also recall the importance of media / information literacy, whose mastering became more complicated by constant advancement of technology and the opening of new platforms and ways of communication.
