Summary/Abstract: This is a brief report concerning the appearance and the use of a new type of mediaactor: the virtual artist, singer and dancer Hatsune Miku, which is a computerizedanimated digital projection able to perform “live” on stage, between real musicians.Its use in marketing and some reactions of the viewers are also revealed
