Summary/Abstract: Marriage rite of Transcarpathian Ukrainians is distinct not only in conceptual significance of ceremonial acts, but also in folkloristic fullness and considerable achievement of Ukrainian nation. Rethinking of scientific best practices and source base concerning the marriage event, using contemporary methods, opens up new possibilities of rite knowledge.
