Summary/Abstract: The paper entitled The Slavic Influence on the Syntax of the Personal Pronoun in Old Romanian Texts analyzes the particular features of the 16th religious texts translated from Slavic. This feature consists of the use of stressed forms of the personal pronoun in neutral contexts which usually require the use of unstressed forms. The difference between the stressed and the unstressed forms of the pronoun is made in the 1st and 2nd persons singular, for the other persons there are used the stressed forms with two functions: emphatic and neutral. This irregularity is explained by the fact that Slavic owns unstressed forms of the pronouns both for the 1st person as well as for the 2nd person singular.
