Summary/Abstract: This piece, which is the postscript of the book edited by the authors, focuses on the question of responsibility in the context of the 2008 global financial crisis. Going beyond the explanations of system-theory, the role of individual decisions and personal narratives are emphasized based on the Bourdieuian theory of praxis. It is the notions of the „shunting yard of responsibilities” and the „delegation of responsibilities” which contributes to the practice of reframing, performed by bankers and employees working in finance, in order to deal with their own personal responsibility in the creation of the crisis. Though in the first weeks of the crisis guilty conscience was not unusual, after the intervention of the politicians strengthened and reproduced the existing structures of the financial world, the issue of personal responsibility was not on the agenda any more. However, there will not be any progressive move in the „risk society” until „mammonism” will be somehow regulated in the field of finance.
