Summary/Abstract: The basis of Nazi ideology in the sphere of education of the occupied areas is discussed in the article. The main attention is paid to the ethnic specification of the structure and contingency of the educational establishments of the district "Halychyna" during World War II. The author manages to prove the fact that their activity was not aimed at the proper support of the educational needs of the main ethnic minorities but at becoming an instrument of the realization of Nazi occupational policy.
