Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of theoretical analysis of the problem of designing a university e-learning course. It outlines the main features and stages of each model as well as the basic building unit that defines the model. Their educational opportunities are analyzed with regard to putting their strengths in different educational contexts. Summaries of the analysis are presented in the form of conclusions and generalized prescriptions for e-training course design in higher education.
