Summary/Abstract: In the article the author made an attempt to analyze the stages of Contemporary Dance (new trend in modern dance) that arose on the basis of modern dance, reveal the characteristic features of this style as a means of choreographic and aesthetic outlook of young people of our time, to evaluate the application in Contemporary-Dance choreographic practice of contemporary choreographers.
