Summary/Abstract: The author studied unknown archive recordings that are connected with live and creative work of conductor Platonyda Shchurovska-Rossinevych and tried to present her role in development of Ukrainian choral art during the first half of the XX century. Creative portrait of the artist is presented in the light of contemporary theories of gender and passionarity.
