Summary/Abstract: The article presents the policy and legislative decisions of the government of Eastern Rumelia for the financial support of public schools and teachers. The provisions of the Organic Statute, of the Primary teaching Act as well as the first legal regulation of the issue of pensions of teachers are commented.
