Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the transformation of leftist ideological worldview through the lens of postmodern discourse, which is central to the epoch of postindustrial (informational) society. An analysis of terminology and content to clarify the concepts "radicalism", "extremism" and "terrorism", as well as characteristics of postmodern political science concept in the context of the research activities of the "New Left".
