Summary/Abstract: The article explores the issue of ethnic specificity of musical culture as a factor in the functioning of polysemantic "text" of the city from a position of artistic and aesthetic analysis. The author reveals the mechanisms of musical space in the context of daily semantic-semiotic creation, carried out by people who are carriers and individual artistic consciousness and members of ethno-art correlations of urban culture.
