Summary/Abstract: The article notes that from the first to the last book of madrigals of Monteverdi madrigal genre is transformed from a sophisticated miniature chamber in an expanded theatrical stage. Composer looking for ways to create a true musical theater, which is not simply «madrigalizmy», depicting the individual words, but complex emotions and affects expression was determined by vocal and instrumental parts.
