Summary/Abstract: The work is devoted to the problem of analysis of electric waveforms distortion. It presents the basis for frequency-based analysis using on Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and time-frequency analysis using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT).The final part of the paper presents the use of both methods for the analysis of current distortion by a machine CNC.
