Summary/Abstract: Recent literature proved that organizational culture has become an increasingly important element for firm performance and business vision achievement. Moreover, the importance of cultural factors in regional development is increasingly being discussed in the world literature. The base for most of them in this respect is the work of G. Hofstede, and his classification levels of culture. Polish studies do not provide in this regard too broad research material, it is, therefore, appropriate to perform empirical verification in that domain. The subject of this study is the impact of regional culture on organizational culture in local government units in the Podlasie, Greater Poland, Mazovia, Silesia andLesser Poland regions. The research problem of this article is to identify the regional dimension of individualism. The author examined whether there are cultural differences of individualism between the regions.
