The Competence of Innovative Construction Project’s Managers in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The relationship between the project’s success and work of the project managerdraws the attention of researches and initiates attempts to identify the skills andcompetencies that are the most important for the project manager’s effectiveness.Competence can be described in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes that allow tocarry out tasks at the appropriate level. The main aim of that paper is to create a competenceprofile of innovative construction project’s managers in Poland. Additionally,a map of relationship between degree of projects’ innovation and expected competencemeasures of construction project managers is created.
