Konya-Karaman Region’s Chalcolithic And Early Bronze Age Pottery Culture

Summary/Abstract: The Konya and Karaman Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age pottery cultures show a local characteristic, moreover they have been reciprocal influenced by the neighboring cultures like as Göller Bölgesi (Lakes Region), Cappadocia, Cilicia and Afyonkarahisar and its’ vicinity. In this work, Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age potteries, which have been collected during Konya and Karaman surveys, will be studied. During this study, the selected pottery sherd characteristics will be compared with Konya and Karaman local pottery cultures and with neighboring pottery cultures.
