Valley of river Zeta - Bjelopavlićka plain, in many areas, had a strong influence on the creation and development of ancient Doclea. In addition to the fact that the name of the town derives from the name of the Illyrian tribes Docleati, this area was an important resource for the supply of necessary goods such as agriculture food products and the required building materials.
