Summary/Abstract: The role of awareness among youth, as seen through the prism of security in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the purpose of prevention and fight against terrorism is the focus of research in this paper. At the beginning, the importance of awareness and its role in perception and understanding of security are elaborated. Next, the question of self-awareness is discussed, as well as collective awareness as elements of consciousness about security from the aspect of Islam. Coherently, in this paper, the attention is being directed to five most significant obstacles in the prevention of terrorism and five key instruments for prevention of terrorism and security awareness growth.
