Analysis of Elderly Needs from Bihor County and Proposals for Specific Social Services

Summary/Abstract: One of the weaknesses that can be attributed as systematic to the services for the elderly is the fact that the needs of this part of the population are superficially identified and assessed, given the particularities of Romanian sociocultural context, the quantitative importance of the rural and the missing features in the rural environment compared to the urban one are only two of the arguments in this matter. This paper attempts to plan the social services for the elderly in Bihor county, starting with an analysis of needs.
