Summary/Abstract: The problem of the most favorable exit of Serbia to the Adriatic especially of the area south of Niš and east of Ibar, remains of enduring interest and importance. This is demonstrated by the author's historical account of the attitude of Serbia towards the Albanian space, in particular from the beginning to the thirties of this century.
