Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the similarity of country structure and commodity structure of trade in Central and Eastern European countries and the relationship betweentrade factors and business cycle synchronization. The aim of article is to study a synchronization of cycles in these countries and to verify the impact of trade factors on the level of synchronization. The authors apply measures of structure similarity to assess the similarity of country structure and commodity structure of trade in Central and Eastern European countries. Then it enables to analyze the impact of level of bilateral trade and structure of trade on business cycle synchronization.
