Summary/Abstract: The study analyzes corruption offenses from a double perspective - both synchronically and diachronically, starting from the provisions of the Criminal Law Convention on Corruption. Thus, the author examines the offenses of bribery (as both accepting and giving of bribe), peddling of influence, municipal corruption, by underlining the novelties brought about by the new Penal Code, with special focus on the non-incrimination in a separate article, of the offense of bribery of officers, as distinguished from the accepting of bribe, as well as the non-incrimination of accepting bribe under the form of an omission to reject a proposal of bribe, as previously incriminated by the former Penal Code.
