Summary/Abstract: As the traffic network develops and the number of cars on Romania’s roads increases, the number of accidents grows accordingly. The motor vehicles compulsory liability insurance RCA was designed as to enhance protection for the victims of traffic accidents. As the person liable for generating the accident is compelled by law to always be insured when driving on the roads, the issue is the means by which the victim sees the damages suffered remedied, following the faultily conduct of the insured persons. This paperwork deals with the introduction to the mechanism of direct actions, a short classification of them, following victim actual direct action against motor vehicles compulsory liability insurance RCA considering regulation, legal character, grounds and its nature. Also, this paperwork deals with the direct action related to other means of debt preserving and realization of the claim and with the effects of exercising the direct action.
