Dialectological data in the description of chosen structures with the preposition po

Summary/Abstract: The author uses dialectological material in her description of spacial structures with the preposition po. A wide, three-element context comprising the relation, the localizer and the localized object is suggested. A semantic and morphological analysis аs well as an analysis of the nominal group are undertaken in order to reduce the equivocalness of the group and of the localizer - in order to specify the meaning of the studied preposition. The utilized data are a record of colloquial speech and contains locative, laxative and perlative structures. It allows for an insight into the system of opposition and Che mechanism of change and it provides an illustration of the linguistic processes at their starting point.
