Summary/Abstract: The origin and development of the Bulgarian education system is an issue that is increasingly attracting the attention of researchers. This presentation focuses on the activities of Marin Drinov as head of the Ministry of National Education, in order to highlight his contribution to the establishment of the Bulgarian education system.
