Summary/Abstract: The actual research has pursued the investigation of the attitude toward the self and the attitude toward life of the women and men with motor disabilities and also analised the self-valuing of people with motor disabilities depending on the nature of the disability (innate or acquired) and the level of education (N - 93 subjects). Women more than men, feel that the presence of disability is affecting their attitude toward the self and toward life. Comparing the results for self-valuing, depending on the nature of the disability - innate or acquired, we found a breakdown of the results in favor of innate disabilities. People with innate motor disability are self-valuing better than those who have acquired disability during the life.
