Summary/Abstract: Proper communication is a key competence in a teacher’s job. Its quality and variety define teacher – pupil relationship remarkably. Teacher’s knowledge about conditions of effective interaction, as well as his effort to enhance this ability, doubtlessly facilitate the teaching and learning process. Furniture arrangement in a classroom should enable children to communicate freely. Proper furniture organization allows pupils to discover the rules of conversation by themselves. In the process of education creating natural situations and conditions for verbal and nonverbal communication helps pupils to recognize the rules of life independently. Assuming that learning to communicate is fundamental in education, communication skills should be complementary to language learning.
