Summary/Abstract: Settled Turk states and communities have connections with Turkey, not only by history, ancestry and language; but also in trade. After the dissolution of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in 1991, five new Turk republics (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan) were established. These independent Turk states, as well as the Turkish people living in the Turk regions inside Central Asia, Anatolia, Europe, Caucasia, Siberia, Balkans, Iran, China and Russia; commonly constitute the “Turk World”, which is a political, economic, cultural and demographic coalition. If we desire to have an important role in the world with a strong Turk union, we have to sustain strong economies. Therefore, the aim of this study is to determine ways to improve international trade cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan, as well as ways to improve direct investments to Uzbekistan.
