Summary/Abstract: Christianity isn’t just a “religion of the written word”, like Judaism and the Islam, but a religion of communication. The life of the Christian community of faith is ruled by a permanent liturgical and catechetical dialogue both in prayer and in the change of ideas following the sermon. This is why the pastoral care and the social-theological agenda cannot possibly ignore the new forms of electronic communication. This text is a presentation of a number of notes on the actual use of the internet, referring to a recent Orthodox document about clerics’ behavior on social networks.
