Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the praetorian interdicts as a basic means for the protection of public property. Through the activities of the Roman praetor the general use of objects, defined as res publicae, res in pecunia populi и res omnium communes, has been secured. The study is of particular importance for the reconstruction of the Roman administrative experience, to which significant number of studies have been dedicated in Spanish Roman studies in the last decades, among which the monographic studies and the other publications of the author play important role.
