Summary/Abstract: The complex issues pertaining to the national and international security cannot be tackled in the absence of an operational intervention on behalf of the international organizations. The latter need legal tools and efficient mechanisms in order to safeguard values such as peace, democracy and human rights, all of which uphold the modern evolution of contemporary society. With a view to this general truth this article focuses on analyzing the most important solutions to current security matters.
