Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the analysis of the storage conditions of the ethnographic textiles pieces temporarily stored in a room located at the first floor of the Department of Art. It presents inner aspects of storage room, the microclimate study conducted between 2015-2016 and causes of textile degradation. The main microclimate factors, temperature and ambient humidity, which are in constant contact with the museum objects exerting on them a continuous action, have a special role in the process of degradation of the museum objects. From the permanent monitoring of T. and U.R., carried out with the help of a thermohigrograph, we obtained results which are presented through the records made in the years 2015 (Pl. I/1-3) and 2016 (Pl. II/1-3).In order to be subjected to analysis, the U.R. and T. recorded on the device diagrams were processed statistically. Monthly averages were calculated, the results obtained being shown in tables (Pl. I/1, II/1). Also, in these tables we included the maximum and minimum values of the two parameters recorded during each month as well as the number of days falling under the normal humidity or dry humidity regime. The examination of the data in the tables shows that the monthly average values of relative humidity were within normal limits during nine months, namely during the April-December period. From the analysis of the temperature values, those registered in 8 and a half months (1st January-2nd June and October-December) fell/were framed within the normal limits.
