Summary/Abstract: The authors in their work give an example of the Budapest City Archives, which has successfully implemented a multi-year continuous program of professional training for archivist outside Hungary, unselfishly dividing their experiences in the field of digitization, databases, protection of conventional and digital archives, archival pedagogy, project applications etc. After presenting some of the modules offered by the Budapest City Archives, the authors presented practical work on the European Archives Portal, for example a description of the information resources States Archives in Osijek.
