Summary/Abstract: Information, Identity and Time – there are three fields which are always in interaction and media exploatation. They are very flexible regarding users and adoptible to all kinds of media. Identities are created, bought, consumed and reinvented. Individual’s identity today relies mainly on the values of capitalist society: power, money, consumption and brands, as well as its short duration. The role of media is multi-faceted. They not only create identities by exchanging information, but its contents caused by the constant demand for new identities and makes it easy to fit into a new system of values. Freedom of using multiple identities is accepted in social networks, where they can simultaneously use multiple profiles.
