Summary/Abstract: In the Romanian Criminal Code, child pornography is included in the category of crimesagainst public order, which means that although the child can claim the status of victim,it will not be the injured party, in a procedural sense, during the trial. Therefore, it isnecessary to analyse if the rights and guarantees provided for the participants to theproceedings are also accessible to the child and what are the measures that can be takenin order to ensure no further trauma is caused. In recent years, it has been the focus ofmost international organisations to promote a “child-friendly” justice system, since theyrepresent a particularly vulnerable social category. Also, it is important to determinewhether there is an effective way for the child to report the crime and obtain damagesfrom the offender
