Summary/Abstract: “Internet violence among teenagers” is the topic of a research paper which deals with the influence of globalization, information availability and technological achievements on lives of young people, and suggests possible answers concerning next steps that would help teenagers to cope with those influences with the least possible negative consequences. Research carried on 403 students, parents and teachers had intention to identify and suggest mechanisms needed for safe use of internet and need for teenagers’ protection from internet based risks, and to give a different view on the role of school system and adults in general in understanding digital reality and shaping the future. The results that came out of this study point out the importance of exercising and reinforcing consciousness about the necessity of development of media literacy concept in Bosnia and Herzegovina within all interest-influence groups that are included in Bosnia-Herzegovina educational and media system.
