Home Visits as an Occasion for Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ

Summary/Abstract: Modern society is proud of the various achievements of civilization, including the various technologies that facilitate interpersonal communication. These, however, do not replace personal encounters, face-to-face. There is no doubt that meeting in person is a fundamental experience in building interpersonal relationships. Home visits are opportunities for such meetings. This article explores the possibility of proclaiming the Gospel in the context of home visits. Specific sections indicate references from the Bible where Jesus’ home visits are mentioned. In the same context, the article also presents situations from the lives of chosen saints. Finally, the article also attempts to define a methodology of home visits.
