Summary/Abstract: Bosnia and Herzegovina is committed to becoming a member of European Union. For this reason several free trade agreements have been signed: Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), Agreement on Amendments and Accession to Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA 2016) and Free Trade Agreement with EFTA Countries. Signing these three agreements completes the process of trade liberalization in this part of Europe. These agreements enable a country candidate for membership in European Union to strengthen its trading position and meet one of the Copenhagen criteria, namely the ability of the country which is a prospective EU member to compete successfully with other EU countries on the market. This paper analyses trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina with other EFTA (European Free Trade Association) countries. The analysis is based on volume and structure of trade before and after the Free Trade Agreement with EFTA countries came into force, as well as on projections of future achievements resulting from signing this particular Agreement.
