Summary/Abstract: The present article focuses on a wider perspective upon job hunting as part of theteaching-learning process which, among others, includes: cultural awareness, communication skills, letters of application, CVs, job interviews. Against thisbackground, the role of FL teachers in the complex job search is of great importance. Bymeans of certain classroom activities students can be helped to market themselveseffectively (e.g. presentations, conversation turn-talking). On the other hand, institutionalor corporate culture is an issue which should not be at all neglected, as it underlies each and every professional interest or existence.
